DataStaff is seeking several Call Center Customer Service Representatives for contract to hire opportunities in the Burlington, VT area.

Training:
2-4 weeks paid onsite training. Once training is completed, this position will temporarily be remote however when COVID-19 restrictions lift, the position could possibly return on-site.

Shift Hours:
Full Time - First Shift Hours, Monday thru Friday (8:00 AM to 5:30 PM), 8 hours shifts, with occasional Saturday (8:00 AM to 1:00 PM) work during busy seasons.

The Customer Support Center (CSC) will provide information and assistance for individuals, families, small group employees, brokers and in-person assistors seeking information, enrollment assistance, and/or services related to Vermont Health Connect. The CSC informs individuals regarding enrollment, benefit counseling, eligibility, and enrollment for Qualified Health Plans and the Vermont Green Mountain Care public health care programs. The CSC will utilize the State’s eligibility, enrollment portal, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and other State systems to perform all tasks and duties for HBE customers to ensure delivery of high-quality service for all Vermont consumers.

Responsibilities:
• Answer incoming calls from consumers including the general public, prospective enrollees, and people assisting enrollees or acting on their behalf in accordance with all performance standards, policy and procedures, and protocols including but not limited to confidentiality and privacy policies.
• Track and document all inquiries using the applicable systems.
• Answer incoming calls from consumers and providers requesting information about the Medicaid Newborn process, Good Cause, and/or Presumptive Eligibility for children.
• Complete associated tasks according to the established guidelines.
• Track and document all inquiries using the applicable systems.
• Meet Quality Assurance (QA) and other key performance metrics.
• Facilitate the fulfillment of caller requests for materials via mail, email, or download.
• Transfer/refer consumers to appropriate entities according to the established guidelines.
• Escalate calls or issues to the appropriate designated staff for resolution as needed.
• Facilitate translation services for non-English speaking callers according to procedures.
• Attend meetings and training as requested and maintains up to date knowledge of all programs and systems.

Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1 plus year of call center experience preferred
• High-speed internet access at remote working location
• Reliable PC or Laptop
• Designated remote work area with limited distractions
