> HIE – CONNECTING TO HEALTH CONNEX

All providers that receive reimbursement for Medicaid or other state-funded healthcare services are required to connect to NC HealthConnex by June 1, 2019.  The Benefits of connecting to the HIE include providing a more holistic view of the patient, preparing for the move to value-based, data-driven health care, less duplicative testing, more efficient and accurate diagnoses, recommendations, and treatment, and improved coordination of care.
