Health Information Exchange (HIE)

DSI is experienced in connecting healthcare providers to NC Tracks MMIS and Health Information Exchanges (HIE), including NC HealthConnex.

Benefits of connecting to the HIE include providing a more holistic view of the patient, preparing for the move to value-based, data-driven health care, less duplicative testing, more efficient and accurate diagnoses, recommendations, and treatment, and improved coordination of care.

All providers that receive reimbursement for Medicaid or other state-funded healthcare services are required to connect to NC HealthConnex by June 1, 2019. DSI can help you comply with this mandate with cost-effective, flexible options that fit within your existing operations and care procedures.
