Job Description:
Our client is seeking a contract Senior Salesforce Solution Designing Expert to design and deliver end-to-end solutions on Salesforce Government Cloud. This role supports mission-critical public-sector programs across Early Education Information System (EEIS) Regulatory licensing, service operations, Provider Compliance, and Registry related programs such as WORKS, NC Pre-K, Early Education Support, Training and Professional Development. The position ensures all solutions align with program objectives, technical standards, security requirements, and long-term platform strategy while leveraging both declarative and programmatic capabilities to build scalable, maintainable systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design and engineering: Lead integration designs, blueprinting and configuration strategies, Architecting Low Code Solutions, designing highly scalable and reusable application components, business process optimization, Human centered design and lightning experience best practices.
- Coordination and communication: Collaborate with vendors, product owners, administrators, QA teams, and business stakeholders to plan and execute required updates and deliverables.
- Discovery and requirements: Lead technical discovery sessions with product owners and program stakeholders to define requirements, evaluate solution options, and recommend best-fit approaches.
- Technical leadership: Establish development standards, mentor junior developers, conduct peer code reviews, and promote consistent high standards across teams.
- Release management readiness: Review Salesforce Spring, Summer, and Winter release notes to identify breaking changes, deprecations, new settings, and feature impacts. Assess platform updates affect existing systems and integrations.
- AI-enablement: Apply AI-driven approaches to enhance Salesforce solutions, including identifying practical use cases, incorporating intelligent automation, and ensuring responsible and compliant use of emerging technologies.
Required Skills:
- 7 Years - Experience supporting public-sector, regulated, or compliance-heavy programs (or equivalent experience in complex multi-team environments).
- 7 Years - Experience leading technical discovery, design sessions, or development teams in a senior or lead capacity.
- 7 Years - Experience in designing highly scalable and reusable application components
- 7 Years - Knowledge and experience in business process optimization
- 7 Years - Knowledge and experience in Human centered design best practices
- 7 Years - Knowledge and experience in data modeling, security and sharing model
- 7 Years - Sound knowledge in user story creation, gap analysis and sound communication with stake holders.
- 3 Years - Hands-on Salesforce experience across configuration, customization, and solution design.
