Clinical Pharmacist
DataStaff is currently seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for a long-term opportunity with one of our direct clients in Raleigh, NC.
This position is hybrid, onsite requirement: 3x week
**All applicants must be licensed Pharmacists with the State of North Carolina and able to practice without restrictions. **
Responsibilities:
- Lead/Manage/Support: Provides clinical expertise in prior approval pharmacy services. Performing under North Carolina's approved criteria that outline policies.
- Collaborate with: You will be collaborating with a team of Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to ensure that we are properly adjudicating prior approval requests in accordance with Outpatient Pharmacy approved criteria.
- Utilize: Strong working knowledge of all aspects of clinical pharmacy operations and the ability to problem solve and facilitate agreement
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- MUST be a registered Pharmacist with the state of NC
- Education: DDS/MD/PharmD
- Experience: 8+ years of related experience
- Technical skills: ability to work with computer systems, multiple screens, analytical skills, sit and focus for extended periods of time, and flexible schedule.
