Bilingual Customer Service Representative
DataStaff, Inc. is seeking remote Bilingual Customer Service Representatives for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients.
*The candidate must be able to read, write and speak one of the following languages: Spanish, Russian, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, Creole, or Korean
*The candidate must live in the Eastern Time Zone
Responsibilities:
- Respond to inbound enrollment-related calls and provide accurate information to callers.
- Educate individuals on available healthcare plan options and managed care programs.
- Assist clients with selecting, enrolling in, and disenrolling from health plans.
- Review and process enrollment documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Handle client inquiries and escalate complex issues to supervisory staff as needed.
- Maintain current knowledge of program guidelines and policies.
- Support call center operations during peak volume periods.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Previous call center experience preferred, particularly in high-volume environments.
- Strong customer service background with the ability to manage client interactions professionally.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new systems, tools, and processes.
- Strong typing and computer proficiency skills.
- Demonstrated reliability and consistent attendance in prior roles.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1–2 years of call center experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications.
- Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute.
- Ability to pass a basic computer proficiency assessment.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- US Citizenship
- Reliable high-speed internet connection is required (minimum 25 Mbps download).
