Work with the internal business team to deliver weekly and monthly reports for our internal offices and also with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
Adhoc reports to meet the legislative and other requirements needs.
Take care of the maintenance and enhancements of several Medicaid related reports, some of them are daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual including the critical CMS Reports.
Deliver the data into CSDW and BIDP for all the federal and other reporting purposes.
Collaboration with other members of the Medicaid application development team will be essential to develop code for both existing and new requirements.
Interact with the business team in the Medicaid area and work with the agile team as well for testing the reporting side of code for Medicaid and interact with the release team for source control and code build and release related activities for the Medicaid area of the code.
Help develop ETLs and new dashboards for Medicaid and other programs using Power BI and Azure Synapse and help move Medicaid programs into Cloud Architecture as part of the application modernization effort.
Have strong working experience in ORACLE, PL/SQL, Business intelligence and reporting tool (BIRT), Power BI and Azure Synapse and the understanding of the underlying data and tables in IBM Curam framework for the product delivery cases and the financial part to support all kinds of reports for case workers, controller office and CMS.
Take on a leadership role, mentoring other report developers, establishing standards across the reporting area, and ensuring the accuracy and correctness of reports and data before delivery to stakeholders.
Required Skills:
7 Years - Experience programming and design of large scale web based distributed systems.
7 Years - Knowledge of Oracle, Oracle Utilities, ETL tools such as Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB) or Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
7 Years - Experience with SQL scripting and Relational Database modeling..
7 Years - Experience with structured system development methodologies.
7 Years - Good communication skills both oral and written and ability to maintain effective working relationships with end users and staff.
7 Years - Strong experience with SQL and PL/SQL coding.
Desired Skills:
7 Years - Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools such as Business Objects or BIRT
5 Years - Data Warehouse experience
Previous experience working with State government.
