SharePoint Operations Specialist
DataStaff, Inc. is seeking a SharePoint Operations Specialist for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients in Raleigh, NC.
* Position is hybrid; may require up to 1-2 days per month onsite
Responsibilities:
- Operations, access and troubleshooting of SharePoint and web-based business solutions, will also be responsible for security group audits.
- Provide prompt, effective, and courteous support for all SharePoint-based application solutions within the ECM portfolio, supporting the transportation lifecycle.
- Monitor ServiceNow, ensuring timely responses to problems, questions, and requests.
- Resolve end user issues swiftly, involving technical experts when needed.
- Create and provide help documentation for common problems.
- Gather and report issues on EAS systems during the daily executive status call.
- Create new sites for Conceptual Express Designs, Preconstruction Projects, and upcoming Construction contracts, both on request and proactively.
- Create and maintain access groups for various partners and internal teams.
- Perform annual audits of access groups to ensure accurate membership and contact information.
- Approve requests for lettings and grant access to Conceptual Express Design and Preconstruction Project sites.
- Assist with ad hoc testing of new application development features as needed
Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
- In-depth experience with SharePoint. Preferably SharePoint 2019 and SharePoint SE
- Expert with web content updates and support of user access roles/permissions for our SharePoint on premise platform.
- Ideal candidate must bring a blend of outstanding customer service, urgency, self-direction, and technical know-how.
Required Skills:
- 10 Years - In-depth experience with SharePoint
- 10 Years - Experience with Active Directory
- 10 Years - Extensive experience with SharePoint security groups
- 10 Years - Experience with ServiceNow
- 10 Years - Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to guide and troubleshoot customers issues through resolution.
- 10 Years - Ability to be proactive and work independently
- 10 Years - Microsoft Suite experience (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- 10 Years - Proven experience writing clear and concise help documentation for common problems
- 10 Years - Ability to work with customers at different levels of the department as well as external customers.
Desired Skills:
- 3 Years - Understanding of NCDOT transportation life cycle business processes
- 3 Years - Experience with NCID
- 3 Years - Experience with NCDOT
- 3 Years - Familiarity with GIS, ProjectWise or HiCAMS
