Our client seeks a highly technical resources to serve as a Data Integration, API and ETL developer for creating real-time, on-demand, batch and scheduled data interfaces and processing between systems and applications, both internal and external.
This Integration/Interface engineer position must be very well organized and able to manage multiple business, technical, and validation efforts. The candidate must have experience in solutioning from both a technical and functional perspective and must be able to understand and help clarify client requirements, design, and build the solution leveraging multiple resources/teams utilizing Salesforce and other platforms. The engineer must participate in exploring business needs, architectural analysis, development, testing, production support, and system maintenance.
Duties include requirements gathering, designing, and implementing solutions, and supporting go-live and post-implementation. The Integration/Interface engineer position has responsibility for providing hands-on development, design, implementation, and support of business solutions based on MuleSoft technology. Must have experience in MuleSoft architecture principles, system integration, technical sizing, high availability aspects, and integration best practices.
In addition to MuleSoft experience (a must have skill), preference would be for candidates with experience in designing and developing integration solutions using IIB/ACE or Boomi.

  1. Process ownership and alignment - Designs, documents, implements, measures, and refines assigned end-to-end processes; specifies ownership, controls, handoffs, approval points, and measurable links to NC Medicaid strategic quality goals.
  2. Remediation and Quality Assurance (QA) - Identifies defects, delays, variation, or weak controls. Uses root-cause analysis and structured improvement methods to develop corrective recommendations and verify whether approved changes work.
  3. Six Sigma and QI expertise. Serves as a process-improvement subject-matter expert. Applies DMAIC, process mapping, measurement, and other fit-for-purpose methods. Coaches without imposing an unnecessarily complex methodology.
  4. Regulatory and policy support. Works with authorized subject-matter experts to translate applicable federal regulations, contracts, and approved policies into operational oversight controls. Identifies ambiguity or gaps for decision-making on state policy.

GIS Technical Architect

Job Description:
Provide dedicated support to the State Traffic Operations Center (STOC) and Transportation Mobility & Safety Unit by assisting with maintaining and updating GIS data used in routing, traffic operations, and incident response. This role works with TM&S staff to understand basic workflow needs, assist with gathering requirements, and help build simple to moderately complex maps, dashboards, and GIS tools that support daily operations. The primary focus is to communicate clearly with non-GIS users, ask questions to understand requests, and follow established GIS Unit standards when creating or updating data and applications. Daily work includes editing geometry, updating events and attributing data, performing QA/QC checks, and assisting with progress tracking and documentation. The role may also support Arcade coding and help with ETL processes under guidance from more senior team members. 

This position will require advanced knowledge of ArcGIS Online, the Esri Software Suite, and ArcGIS Enterprise. The candidate must be able to build web mapping applications independently, publish hosted and referenced feature services, and understand the life cycle of GIS products from requirements gathering to databases, schema creation, cartography, application development, and maintenance. 

The ideal candidate will be able to shadow meetings, listen to issues, and independently identify potential GIS solutions based on complex issues. The ability to quickly generate solutions and describe them to non-IT personnel is essential to this role. Documentation, organization, and communication skills are required. This position will report to the Specialist – Expert position and must be able to take direction and work collaboratively extremely well, both in person and remotely.
