DataStaff, Inc. is currently seeking a UI/UX Developer for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients in the Richmond, VA area.
 
*This is an on-site position

Job Description:
The agency will be modernizing the flagship cloud-hosted (OCI) application BADGE from the current desktop version to a web-based version.  Ideal candidate will need to be able to understand the code in the current desktop application to migrate to the new web-based application. You will be working closely with our lead developers to take ownership of a given module and provide guidance to the other contractors.

Knowledge and Experience

• Expert knowledge of systems development and design using Visual Studio .Net
• Expert knowledge in developing ASP.Net, Web Services and Web applications in .Net
• Expert knowledge of .Net technologies (Visual Basic, C#, .Net Framework)
• Experience working in MVC, JavaScript, jQuery, jQuery Unobtrusive Validation, HTML, and CSS
• Experience working with WinForms / WPF Forms
• Experience working with RDBMS and writing complex SQL queries. Experience working with Oracle and PL/SQL  

Required Skills:

• 6 Years - Advanced knowledge in developing ASP.Net, MVC, Web Services and Web applications in .Net
• 6 Years - .NET Framework/ C#/ VB                                       
• 6 Years - ORACLE / SQL / PL/SQL
• 6 Years - Bootstrap / jQuery / JavaScript                                                                          
• 6 Years - HTML / XML / CSS
• 6 Years - jQuery Unobtrusive Validation                                                               
• 6 Years - TFS / GIT Source Control
• 3 Years - WinForms / WPF Forms

Desired Skills:
