Epic Bridges Analyst
DataStaff, Inc. is currently seeking an Epic Bridges Analyst for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients in Raleigh, NC.

Job Description:
Seeking an analyst who is an Epic-certified in Bridges to build applications interfaces between Epic and an interface engine/third party application.
The analyst will perform Epic Application Coordinator/Analyst functions to serve as the primary support contact for the interfaces they are assigned to. Interface analysts coordinate the analysis, technical design, and all issue triage necessary to implement and support their assigned interfaces. This position will work closely with the interface project manager, application teams, and technical teams to ensure that interfaces meet the needs of your end users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the entire cycle of interface application development, including analysis, design, specification, implementation, go-live, and support
- Working closely with application teams, subject matter experts, and third-party application experts to determine the business needs for interfaces, document the requirements, and configure the interfaces per the requirements.
- Working with this group to diagnose and resolve interface-related issues, and participating in their projects as needed.
- Coordinating various interface-specific tasks and activities like testing, build, cutover planning, and go-live by engaging subject matter experts, vendors, and interface engine developers
- Working with interface engine developers to develop data-translation routines and methods to support Epic’s and external systems’ data and format needs
- Driving the interface projects, working with the interface project manager to ensure that results are achieved and deadlines are met
- Providing proactive support by monitoring live interfaces and collaborating with experts to provide permanent resolutions to problems
Required Skills:
- 5 Years – Certified by Epic in Bridges
- 3 Years – Epic interface development experience
- 5 Years – Epic implementation and operations support experience
- 8 Years – Health IT experience
- 8 Years – Strong analytical, technical, and troubleshooting skills
- 8 Years – Working knowledge in application development and expert knowledge in system integration
- 8 Years – Strong analytical, technical, and troubleshooting skills
- 8 Years – Skilled in enterprise systems and familiarity with best business practices related to systems
- 8 Years – Working knowledge of security protocols for systems utilized
- 8 Years – Working knowledge of the current architecture of systems and information to troubleshoot problems
- 8 Years – Ability to analyze data, problem-solve, and clearly communicate solutions
- 8 Years – Ability to manage timelines, financial resources, and the activities of others to achieve success and to monitor project progress and provide updates
- 8 Years – Ability to understand organizational requirements and their impact on the technical aspects of a solution
- 5 Years – Ability to work in a complex multi-communication-channel environment
- 8 Years – Experience in assessing user needs through discussion with customer
- 8 Years – Able to convey technical information to client and promote understanding of relevant issues
- 8 Years – Software quality assurance/testing experience
- 8 Years – Ability to coordinate activities involving multiple internal and external stakeholders to design, configure and test interfaces
