DataStaff, Inc. is seeking a Data Specialist for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients in Raleigh, NC.

This position will require compliance with any COVID-19 vaccination policies that are promulgated by DataStaff, Inc.’s client and/or state, and local laws.

*This position is onsite.


  • Work closely with staff in the design, development, and operation of the Business Intelligence Data Platform and the Enterprise Data Platform
  • Liaise with partners on entity resolution and record linkage efforts
  • Liaise to identify and operationalize areas for data sharing and exchange to improve public health and wellness
  • Oversee technical aspects of Master Data Management, including mapping of unique IDs across systems, with record linkage and entity resolution support from partners
  • Oversee creation of data automation pipelines across systems

Required Skills:

  • 3 Years – Experience with Record linkage and entity resolution
  • 3 Years – Experience with Conceptual data modeling
  • 3 Years – Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • 3 Years – Working knowledge of schema design and data modeling best practices
  • 3 Years – Experience with SQL
  • 3 Years – Critical thinking and troubleshooting
  • 3 Years – Bachelors in computer science or related field, Masters preferred 5+ years of experience
