DataStaff, Inc. is seeking several Call Center Customer Service Representatives for contract-to-hire opportunities in the Burlington, VT area.

**This position will work remotely, however, candidates must live in the US in the Eastern time zone.
It requires you to have a professional, quiet workspace, free from distractions with high-speed hard-wired ethernet internet capability and a reliable PC/Laptop with Windows 10, webcam, smartphone, and headset with microphone.
 
These are contract-to-hire opportunities starting at $13.50/hr and at time of conversion pay will increase to $14/hr with excellent benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide information and assistance for individuals, families, small group employees, brokers, and in-person assistors seeking information, enrollment assistance, and/or services.
  • Informs individuals regarding enrollment, benefits counseling, eligibility, and enrollment for Qualified Health Plans and public health care programs.
  • Utilize the eligibility, enrollment portal, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, and other systems to perform all tasks and duties for customers to ensure delivery of high-quality service for all Vermont consumers.
  • Answer incoming calls from consumers including the general public, prospective enrollees, and people assisting enrollees or acting on their behalf in accordance with all performance standards, policy and procedures, and protocols including but not limited to confidentiality and privacy policies.
  • Track and document all inquiries using the applicable systems.
  • Answer incoming calls from consumers and providers requesting information about the Medicaid Newborn process, Good Cause, and/or Presumptive Eligibility for children.
  • Complete associated tasks according to the established guidelines.
  • Track and document all inquiries using the applicable systems.
  • Meet Quality Assurance (QA) and other key performance metrics.
  • Facilitate the fulfillment of caller requests for materials via mail, email, or download.
  • Transfer/refer consumers to appropriate entities according to the established guidelines.
  • Escalate calls or issues to the appropriate designated staff for resolution as needed.
  • Facilitate translation services for non-English speaking callers according to procedures.
  • Attend meetings and training as requested and maintains up-to-date knowledge of all programs and systems.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1 plus year of call center experience preferred
  • High-speed ethernet internet access at remote working location
  • Designated remote work area with limited distractions
